What’s Not Covered?

We want to be transparent. Our guarantee does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use or relocation of the furniture after assembly.

  • Manufacturer defects (but we’ll always help you identify and document these).

  • Normal wear and tear.

Workmanship Guarantee FAQ

  • All labor performed by 6IX Assembly on furniture assembly, wall mounting, leveling, anchoring, and basic adjustments. If something we installed becomes loose, misaligned, squeaks, or needs a tune-up due to our work, we fix it.

  • Twelve months from the service date.

  • Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, and Richmond Hill.

  • Manufacturer defects, missing or damaged parts from the product, normal wear, misuse, overloading, water or humidity damage, pet or child impact, moves or relocations after install, third-party alterations, and wall or floor issues outside our control.

  • Yes for the installation work and the fasteners we install. The guarantee does not cover hidden structural issues such as crumbling drywall, metal studs that cannot take the specified load, or masonry that fractures after the fact. If we identify risky conditions on site, we will recommend safer hardware or reinforcement.

  • Yes for assembly, alignment, leveling, and wall anchoring performed by us. The unit must be secured to a suitable wall. If the floor is uneven, we shim and level. The guarantee does not cover bowing due to overloading or an unanchored unit.

  • Email service@6ixassembly.ca with your name, address, job date, a short description, and photos or a video. You can also text or call (416) 518-0289.

  • No for workmanship issues we caused. If the issue is unrelated to our work, a standard visit fee applies which we disclose before booking.

  • The guarantee follows the original installation at the original address. If you move the item or relocate the install, the guarantee ends. Hire us for the uninstall and reinstall to keep coverage at the new location.
