Smart desks and standing desks are often sold as several components. Send product links or model numbers for the frame and desktop, including the selected size and any manufacturer-supplied controls or accessories. Drawer units, shelves, screens and cable trays should be listed if you want them assembled during the visit.
If the top and frame came from different suppliers, share both sets of information. Matching dimensions alone do not establish that components are intended to work together. The proposed combination and its assembly instructions need to be reviewed before the job is confirmed.
We primarily review new boxed products with complete parts. Include your Toronto or GTA location, the intended desk position and access details such as stairs, elevators and parking. This helps us quote the complete agreed setup.
Keep powered assembly within the manufacturer's instructions
The exact model instructions guide the frame assembly, desktop attachment and placement of compatible accessories. Powered desks may also have manufacturer-specified plug-in connections between supplied components. Those connections can be reviewed as part of the furniture assembly; they do not extend the job to electrical repairs or hardwiring.
Tell us where the existing outlet is located and include the instructions for any accessory connected to the desk. New outlets, changes to building wiring and repairs to motors or controllers are outside the service. We also do not modify incompatible components to create an unapproved combination.
Keep the manual after assembly for the manufacturer's directions on operation, adjustments and load limits. Any unresolved mechanical, connection or component issue needs to be addressed before the desk is used.

Clear the intended desk area and enough nearby space to lay out the frame and desktop. Share photos if the desk will sit beneath shelves, beside fixed furniture or in a tight corner. The model's movement and clearance requirements need to be considered alongside the room layout.
Leave the supplied hardware, labels and instructions with the corresponding components. If an essential fitting is missing or the delivery differs from your order, tell us before the appointment so the effect on the job can be reviewed.
For an existing or partly assembled desk, send condition photos and explain the request before booking. Indoor furniture assembly includes 12-month workmanship coverage, subject to the policy terms. Manufacturer coverage for the desk, motor, controls and other product components remains separate.
Moving or changing an existing desk setup?
Send the model, current-condition photos and the work you need before booking. Disassembly and reassembly depend on the product instructions, condition and available hardware; transport between addresses is a separate arrangement.
Tell us about attached monitor arms, cable trays and other accessories, as well as any error messages or known faults. We do not repair motors, controllers or building wiring.
